The efforts happened between July 17 and Aug. 7, according to DCC. They targeted five distribution locations, two delivery operations, and 10 dispensaries. Search warrants were issued in Southern California cities: Burbank, Fullerton, Glendale, Long Beach, Los Angeles, North Hollywood, Rialto, Sun Valley, and Westminster.
“The continued proactive measures taken over the past few weeks not only remove a substantial amount of unregulated product from circulation but reinforce DCC’s commitment to protecting the public and the regulated cannabis market,” DCC said.
Seizures from the operation include:
• $1.2 million in cash
• 6,472 pounds of illegal cannabis flower
• 1,145 pounds of illegal cannabis concentrates
• 5,585 pounds of illegal cannabis edibles
• 17 gold bars (16 one-ounce bars and one 100-gram bar)
• 100 pounds of illicit psilocybin mushrooms
