The Jaguars shut out Austin High 34-0, and the Rebels notched a 55-0 win over Navarro.
In the KBVO Game of the Week, Hendrickson outscored Buda Hays 35-10 in the second half to complete a wild 42-41 comeback victory.
The game against Luling and Burbank in Luling was canceled due to a threat made on social media. Irene Talamantes, the principal at Burbank High School, said that law enforcement is “actively investigating” the threat.
Luling ISD superintendent Erin Warren addressed the threat on the district’s Facebook page, saying, “we take all potential threats very seriously, and will always act to safeguard our students and staff.”
No reschedule date has been announced.
