A crew member has died after a crash between the ATV he was driving and a racecar, according to Fergus Falls police.
First responders were called to the I94 Speedway race track around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday on a report of a crash between a racecar and an ATV.
Despite giving first aid to the 68-year-old who was driving the ATV, he died at the hospital. Investigators say he went onto the race track while the race was still going on.
Wissota Auto Racing identified the victim as Scott Engfer.
OSHA has been notified of the incident.
