ISP: Indy man opened fire at vehicle on I-465 with infant inside; faces bomb-making charge

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police have arrested a man who allegedly fired multiple shots at a vehicle in the northbound lanes of Interstate 465 in August.

ISP has announced the arrest of 19-year-old Logan Quisenberry of Indianapolis for his alleged role in a road rage incident that occurred on Aug. 21 on I-465 NB near I-69. Previous reporting revealed that detectives were actively searching for a motorcyclist accused of firing multiple rounds at another vehicle with an 11-month-old infant inside.

As the investigation unfolded, ISP said detectives received multiple tips from community members as they narrowed their search to identify the suspect. This reportedly led them to Quisenberry’s Indianapolis home, where they executed a search warrant on Thursday.

While detectives searched through the residence, ISP noted they reportedly encountered numerous “incendiary devices.” Authorities requested assistance from the ISP bomb squad, which helped seize the improvised explosive devices. Detectives also encountered multiple narcotics inside the residence.

Following the search warrant, Quisenberry was placed under arrest and preliminarily charged with the following:

  • Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon
  • Possession / Manufacturing a destructive device
  • Dealing Narcotics
  • Dealing Marijuana

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will ultimately decide whether any formal criminal charges are filed in this case.
