Isolated strong storms across southeast Utah, with rain chances moving further north into the weekend
As we get on the back side of low pressure, we will see one more potential shot at isolated showers & storms across most of north and eastern Utah. A Flood Watch has been extended for portions of eastern Utah through Friday evening. Excessive runoff and training of heavy rain could lead to some issues in flood-prone areas for the rest of our Friday and into Saturday.
After Saturday, another ridge of high pressure builds over the region, leading to drier conditions to wrap up the weekend and kick off next week. Still some uncertainty on another potential low pressure next week but looks like the data is trending further north with this system. This will mean a chance for a few more isolated storms for the first half of next week, but no big rain event is expected.
