Enrollment for Texas Tuition Promise Fund open to February

AUSTIN, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock wanted to remind families that enrollment in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund is open, and the $25 application fee will be waived for September and October enrollments.

Officials said the Texas Tuition Promise Fund offers parents and guardians the chance to prepay a child’s future undergraduate resident tuition and schoolwide required fees at Texas public colleges and universities, excluding medical and dental schools, at today’s prices.

Enrollment began on Sept. 1 and runs through Feb. 28, 2026.

“As parents, we all want to give our kids every opportunity to succeed, and that starts with education,” Hancock said. “Enrolling in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund can help families plan ahead today as we keep Texas strong for generations to come.”

More information about the program can be found on TuitionPromise.org or by calling 800-445-GRAD (4723), option 5. Webinars about the program can be found here.
