Baxter County Fair to honor seniors, veterans Thursday with full day of events

The Baxter County Fair continues Thursday with a full lineup of events for Senior Citizen Day and Veterans Day at the Fair.Senior citizens and veterans are admitted free from 10 to 9. Commercial booths will be open from 10 to 9.
Poultry and rabbit judging runs from 9:30 to noon. Bingo Bash takes place on the indoor stage from 10:30 to 12:30. Beans and cornbread will be served at the Cumberland Presbyterian Education Building from noon to 7.

A Quilt of Valor presentation is scheduled for 1, followed by youth rabbit showmanship at 3:30. Livestock judging for steers, beef, bottle calves, goats and sheep begins at 6. A Fireman, Police, First Responder and EMS Veterans Appreciation Ceremony will be held at 6:30.

The carnival will be open from 5 to 9:30, and Joshua Michael & Dirt Road Saints will perform from 7 to 10.
