The unidentified employee reportedly posted disparaging remarks about right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed in Utah on Wednesday.
In a statement, the company said they are aware of the incident and are dealing with it.
“We are aware of concerns regarding a recent personal social media post by one of our employees,” the statement read. “The post was not reflective of our company’s mission and values or the high standard of professional conduct we expect from every member of our team. The employee has since removed the post and has been counseled in accordance with our strict social media policy.”
No further information on the identity of the employee or her job title was released.
“Our team members dedicate their lives to caring for others in their moments of greatest need,” the statement said. “We expect and hold one another accountable to uphold respect, dignity, and professionalism both in the field and online.”
