Where is Kendrick Taylor? Lubbock murder suspect added to most wanted fugitives

LUBBOCK, Texas — A combined reward of up to $7,500 was offered for information leading to the arrest of Kendrick Kevon Taylor, 23, who is wanted on a murder warrant in connection with the Central Lubbock shooting that killed Lawrence Brantley, 18.

Taylor was also named to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list. Crime Line offered a reward of $2,500, and the Texas Department of Public Safety offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to Taylor’s arrest. Taylor, who also goes by “Skrilla,” is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach him. Anyone with information about the investigation or Taylor’s location is asked to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000 or Detective Johnson at (806) 790-8368.

EverythingLubbock.com previously reported the shooting happened in the 1900 block of 41st Street around 4:00 a.m. on August 18.

Police said it appeared Brantley and dozens of other people were at a house when Brantley and Taylor got into an argument. LPD said the dispute turned physical, and shots were fired.
