NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is trying to identify and arrest a burglar who targeted a Gentilly business last week. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

According to police, the crime happened around 3:00 in the morning on Friday, Sept. 5, at the EZ Phone Fix in the 3800 block of Gentilly Boulevard.

The NOPD released security camera footage that shows the burglar making his way through the business. Police say he shattered the front door glass and stole two hookahs as well as a battery operated toy car. They also say some iPhones and phone cases were destroyed.

It’s not the first burglary that we’ve included at the business in our Wheel of Justice reports. In our latest report, we also show video of the previous burglary from December of 2023.
