Two Marion County residents injured in crash north of Springfield Sunday


Two Marion County residents were injured in a single-vehicle accident north of Springfield Sunday evening. The two, a 55-year-old female and a 54-year-old male, both from Yellville, were both taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by ambulance following the crash. The female had what were termed moderate injuries while the male had what were described as minor injuries.The Missouri State Highway Patrol does not release the names of those involved in motor vehicle or boating accidents.

to the accident report, the crash happened when the vehicle, being driven by the female, traveled off the left side of the highway, struck the median and overturned.




The accident happened at 8:35 Sunday night on Missouri Route 13, approximately 11 miles north of Springfield.
