Shin Godzilla Is Getting a Sleek 4K Steelbook That’s Now Available to Preorder
October is already looking like a great month for fans of physical media – from a drop of 40th Anniversary 4K steelbooks for the Back to the Future trilogy to newer theatrical releases getting their physical release like I Know What You Did Last Summer – but it’s about to get even better. Shin Godzilla is set to get a limited edition 4K steelbook then that’s now available to preorder.
The limited edition steelbook is available at a variety of retailers, including Amazon, Target, and Walmart, for $46.99. You won’t have to wait too long to add it to your collection, either, as it’s set to be released on October 28. Head to the links below to secure a copy before it sells out.
The Shin Godzilla steelbook features an incredibly cool purple cover with the iconic big lizard on the front. It comes with a 4K Ultra HD version of the film, Blu-ray, and a bonus features Blu-ray. Back when it was first released, we had a lot of praise for Shin Godzilla in our review. At the time, writer Mike Rougeau said, “Shin Godzilla provides a new origin for the legendary kaiju, establishing its own unique style while taking inspiration from the classics in all the right ways.”
