The Give $5 Campaign allows residents to check a box to contribute directly to the Pulaski County Spay/Neuter Fund, helping reduce the stray pet population and support local shelters, officials said.
According to a spokesperson, the fund provides vouchers for spay and neuter procedures through Pulaski County Animal Services and partner clinics like Eubanks Veterinary Clinic in North Little Rock, where pets can be spayed or neutered and receive a rabies vaccination for just $10.
Pulaski County has also partnered with Arkansans for Animals to expand access to affordable spay and neuter services, officials said.
Residents can pay taxes and donate in person at the Pulaski County Administration Building, or online at Public.PulaskiCountyTreasurer.net.
