ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A water leak is impacting southeast Abilene this afternoon. The leak broke out on September 11 at the intersection of Lone Star Drive and Loop 322. As of 2:00 p.m., traffic cannot turn onto Lone Star Drive. Nearby restaurant Copper Creek posted online that it had to close for lunch due to the “massive” leak. City crews are on scene making repairs, though it’s unclear when the work will be completed. BigCountryHomepage has reached out to the City of Abilene for more details.
