The Natchez Democrat reported Adrian Harris, 46, pled guilty to second-degree murder on September 10, 2025. He was sentenced to 30 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).

The shooting occurred in the area of Old Courthouse Road just before 9:00 p.m. on November 18, 2021. Adams County deputies said Marion Hunt, 59, was found at the wheel of a truck. He died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Witnesses were able to identify the suspect as Harris, according to investigators. They said he returned to the scene and was arrested without incident.
