FBI and HSI partner with local agencies in internet crimes against children case

(KRON) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) partnered with the Central County SWAT Team in executing a federal arrest and search warrant Thursday. The warrant and arrest for a subject on Bordeaux Court in Martinez stemmed from an Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation, according to the Martinez Police Department.

“We would like to thank the residents of Martinez who were affected by this incident for their patience,” Martinez PD said. “We would also like to thank members of the Central County SWAT Team and the Crisis Negotiation Team for bringing about a peaceful end to this incident.”

Officials declined to immediately release any additional information related to the case.
