DeKalb woman charged with stabbing man after argument

DEKALB, Ill. (WTVO) — A DeKalb woman has been accused of stabbing a man after an alleged argument with another woman.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, at 7:30 a.m., deputies were called to an apartment in the 1300 block of N. Annie Glidden Road for a reported stabbing.

There, they met the victim, who had been injured in the arm.

Investigators determined that the victim had two women, including Keshawna Harris, 32, over at his apartment when an argument broke out between the two.

Police said Harris brandished a pocket knife and began swinging it toward the other woman and the victim, and ultimately slashed the man in the inner forearm.

Harris was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, and lodged in the DeKalb County Jail pending the outcome of a pretrial detention hearing.
