Bucks County 9/11 memorial remembers and honors victims on 24th anniversary

LOWER MAKEFIELD TWP., Pa. (WPHL) — The Garden of Reflection 9/11 Memorial was created to remember and honor our loved ones and all 2,973 killed on September 11, 2001. The memorial also includes special recognition for the 18 Bucks County victims who lost their lives on 9/11.

Members of the Bucks County victims, as well as community members, gathered on the 24th anniversary of the tragic attacks to remember those who perished on that day.

The walking memorial is created to take visitors on a journey, symbolizing the idea of “After Darkness…Light.” The memorial begins with the reminders of the tragedies of that unforgettable day and ends with symbols of peace, hope, and the celebration of life.
