Ascend Wealth Management donates $5,000 to Bomber youth football league

Mike and Susan Stockton of Ascend Wealth Management have donated $5,000 to the Bomber Youth Football League, league officials said.

The contribution will be used to purchase equipment, uniforms, and support programs for nearly 200 athletes participating in the league this year, according to league leaders.

The Stocktons, who also sponsor the Jim Holsted Athlete of the Week award, have been longtime supporters of Bomber Athletics.

“Youth sports aren’t just about winning games – they are about building confidence, learning teamwork and developing resilience,” said Mike Stockton, owner of Ascend Wealth Management.

Bomber Youth Football games are held Saturdays at Bomber Stadium, with third-grade teams starting at 10, followed by fourth, fifth and sixth-grade teams through the end of October.
