Late Night is set for Friday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m. inside historic Allen Fieldhouse. The night will begin with women’s basketball team scrimmaging, followed by entertainers including the Rock Chalk spirit squad, the KU basketball band, spirit squad and fan favorite halfcourt shot to win $10,000.
Then the men’s team will scrimmage, offering fans the first look at the new squad featuring the top-rated recruit in the nation, Darryn Peterson. Peterson is the third No. 1 recruit to play under coach Bill Self, joining Andrew Wiggins and Josh Jackson.
Following the scrimmage will be the very first Late Night After Party, a KU student-only dance party on the Allen Fieldhouse court featuring dueling DJs. The event will continue to be free for fans, however tickets will need to be claimed online in advance and seating outside the student section will be reserved.
