One dead, one critical in Terrebonne Parish apartment shooting

TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A man is dead and another hospitalized following a shooting in Terrebonne Parish on Sept. 9.

In an investigation done by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, at 6 p.m. deputies responded to the call of shots fired at an apartment in the 700 block of Bayou Garden Boulevard.

Upon arrival, deputies reported finding two victims, 19-year-old man and 18-year-old woman, inside each suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene while the woman was taken to an out-of-area hospital for treatment where she remains in critical condition, according to deputies.

TPSO Violent Crimes Detectives are in charge of the investigation and say they are pursuing multiple leads.
