New trails devised at Pumpy

BRANDONVILLE – There are two new nature trails at the Pumping Station Dam.

The Catawissa Creek Trail and Davis Creek Trail were recently developed in the woodlands behind the trout nursery at the borough-owned recreational area.

Volunteers undertook the project, adding markings, bridges, and more.

It is all part of the ongoing effort to revitalize the once-legendary recreation area in East Union Township.
