LSUS expands team with two new student analyst positions
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — LSUS Security Operations Center is hiring two student analysts as it continues to place graduates in cybersecurity roles.
The SOC monitors LSUS networks for cyber threats. Its first two student analysts have already advanced.
According to a news release, Student Haley Stinebrickner advanced to a doctoral program at the University of Central Florida ,and student Kia Callahan to an internship with CSG International.
SOC lead Ched Wiggins will host a Lunch and Learn on September 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Technology Center Room 220 to share details about the openings. Applicants must be sophomores or higher enrolled in face-to-face LSUS programs.
