HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Twelve individuals were arrested in a multi-agency operation in Holyoke targeting individuals with outstanding arrest warrants.
In a news release by the Holyoke Police Department, the operation resulted in the seizure of a trafficking weight of heroin/fentanyl and cocaine, as well as the arrest of four juvenile suspects in connection with a stolen Hyundai.
On Friday, September 5th, the multi-agency operation focusing on individuals with outstanding arrest warrants includes the following:
Officers received information at around 7:35 a.m. that a juvenile with a warrant was involved in a police pursuit in Easthampton. The vehicle was a Hyundai that was stolen out of Enfield, Connecticut. In the area of Tokeneke Road and Farnum Drive, officers saw the suspects from the stolen vehicle running. Three 15-year-old juvenile boys (two with arrest warrants) and one 15-year-old juvenile girl, all from Holyoke, were apprehended and placed under arrest. Due to their ages, no additional information will be released to the public.
Luis Carrion-Santiago
10:15 a.m.
Officers located 26-year-old Luis Carrion-Santiago in a vehicle parked on North East Street. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Alexander Santos Jr. & Carlos Cordova Jr.
11:10 a.m.
Officers located 26-year-old Alexander Santos Jr. of Holyoke at an apartment on 851 Main Street for a default warrant for assault and battery on a police officer. Officers applied for a search warrant and received approximately 31.75 grams of heroin/fentanyl (1270 bags), approximately 25.4 grams of cocaine and more than $650 in cash.
Santos Jr. and 23-year-old Carlos Cordova Jr. of Holyoke, who was also in the apartment, were arrested and charged with:

Trafficking Heroin/Fentanyl 18-36 Grams
Steven Montanez
Afternoon
Officers located 29-year-old Steven Montanez of Springfield on Essex Street with two bundles of heroin/fentanyl (20 bags). He was a suspect in an unrelated investigation at 173 Elm Street. He is charged with trespassing in the Elm Street building and possession of a Class A Drug.
Patrick Gamache
3 p.m.
Detectives arrested 27-year-old Patrick Gamache of Holyoke in a parked vehicle outside a home on 30 Laurel Street. He had five outstanding warrants and two vials of crack-cocaine and additional vials with crack-cocaine residue were seized.
A woman who was with Gamache at the time, 26-year-old Hannah Simons of Holyoke, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant and had two vials of crack-cocaine.
Both Gamache and Simons were charged with possession of a Class B Drug.
Jose Robles-Ortiz
6:20 p.m.
A property check was conducted at the alleyway of 97 Newton Street. Officers encountered 46-year-old Jose Robles-Ortiz of Springfield, who was allegedly holding a bundle (10 bags) of heroin/fentanyl. He was arrested and charged with

Christopher Newsome
Officers located and arrested 40-year-old Christopher Newsome of Chicopee in the area of Newton Street with an outstanding warrant in Chicopee for possession of a Class B Drug.

The investigating agencies included the Holyoke Police Narcotics/Vice Unit, Holyoke Police Criminal Investigations Bureau, United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, and Massachusetts State Police VFAS.
