Free seminars on budgeting, credit, and preventing ID theft

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Shreve Memorial Library Hollywood/Union Avenue Branch, in partnership with Gibsland Bank and Trust (GBT), is hosting a series of free GBT Financial Literacy Seminars this month.

Each Thursday starting on September 11, at 11 a.m., GBT representatives will educate Shreve Memorial Library patrons on different elements of financial literacy and well-being.

Each seminar will cover a different topic. On September 11, the topic is Understanding Credit. Budgeting and Saving are on the agenda for September 18. September 25 will finish the series with a seminar on Identity Theft.
