$10K reward offered in 2019 East Palo Alto homicide case
Police identified Juan Carlos Solis as the suspected gunman accused of fatally shooting Victor Gomez-Rios on Sept. 7, 2019. Gomez-Rios was found shot while sitting in his vehicle in the 1800 block of East Bayshore Road, according to police. Palo Alto Online reported at the time,
Gomez-Rios succumbed to his gunshot injuries two days later, Palo Alto Online reported.
“After an extensive investigation, Solis was identified as the suspect in this case,” police wrote. “Despite ongoing efforts, he remains at large.”
Authorities released a 2019 photo of the suspect, Juan Carlos Solis, shown above.
Anyone with information is asked to call or text the East Palo Alto Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 650-409-6792 or email epa@tipnow.org. If the suspect is seen, police said to call 911.
The $10,000 reward is valid through Sept. 30, 2025, according to police.
