PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities are trying to locate three unknown suspects after they burglarized a smoke shop over the weekend in Clackamas County, gaining entrance by way of a car that smashed through the front doors, officials say.

On Sunday, Sept. 7, at about 3:20 a.m., the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a burglary alarm at House of Pipes at 17185 SE McLoughlin Blvd in an unincorporated part of Clackamas County.

They discovered an abandoned silver Kia Soul — later determined to have been stolen from somewhere nearby — that seemed to be used to ram the front doors. A search commenced, but no suspects were found.

Surveillance video later showed three unknown suspects entering the door through the smashed entry, jumping over displays and stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise, deputies said. The suspects were all wearing face masks, hooded jackets and gloves. Two minutes later, they then left the scene in an unidentified getaway car, headed in an unknown direction, officials said.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information that can help identify the suspects is asked to contact the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
