SF woman suspected of DUI in Mountain View pedestrian crash
(KRON) — A 23-year-old San Francisco woman was under the influence of alcohol when she crashed her vehicle into a pedestrian in Mountain View, the Mountain View Police Department said Saturday.

Mountain View authorities responded to the crash on Aug. 31 around 9:47 p.m. in the area of West El Camino Real and Miramonte Avenue. Arriving officers and Mountain View Fire Department medics found the pedestrian, a 64-year-old Mountain View man, suffering from injuries sustained in the collision. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle was identified by police as Eva Lerner, 23, of San Francisco.

“Officers investigated the collision and placed the driver under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage,” MVPD said.

Lerner was booked into the Santa Clara County main jail for driving under the influence causing injury.
