(KRON) — Burglars made off with tens of thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry after breaking into a Hindu temple in Dublin over the weekend, according to police.

Sri Panchamukha Hanuman Temple, which is located at 6930 Village Parkway, was burglarized around 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, Dublin Police Services said. According to detectives, there is “no evidence” suggesting that the burglary was motivated by religious prejudice.

“During the burglary, about $34,000 in cash and jewelry were stolen,” Dublin police said.

No further details on the burglary, including possible suspects, were released.

Anyone with information or who witnessed the burglary is asked to contact Dublin Police Services at 925-833-6670.
