Man charged after deadly Center City shooting
On Monday, charges against John Kelly, including murder and violations of the Uniform Firearms Act, were approved.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, officers responded just before 6 p.m. at the corner of 12th & Chestnut Streets. When police arrived, they found a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
She was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she died from her injuries shortly after 7:15 p.m.
