Fuel leakage causes major delays on Bangerter in Draper

DRAPER, Utah (ABC4) — Just after 5 a.m. Monday morning, a two-vehicle accident occurred on southbound Bangerter disrupting morning traffic.

One of the affected vehicles was a truck which leaked over 80 gallons of diesel fuel on the roads. Local fire departments and hazmat responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

All westbound lanes of Bangerter were blocked for a couple of hours but has since been reopened. Eastbound traffic was affected as well.
