Fiancée shares video after man killed in East Hollywood McDonald’s drive-thru shooting

A dispute in an East Hollywood McDonald’s drive-thru line ended in gunfire over the weekend, leaving one man dead and another in jail on a manslaughter charge.

Los Angeles police said the confrontation began when the driver of one car allegedly brake-checked the vehicle behind him, triggering a heated exchange. Moments later, 21-year-old Humberto Delgado allegedly opened fire, killing 30-year-old Felix and injuring his fiancée, Kerin Gonzalez-Molina.

Gonzalez-Molina shared with KTLA video she recorded in the moments before and after the shooting. In the video, she can be heard questioning the other driver about damage to his car. “Where did we hit you? Where is the damage? Because our thing had sensors and it stopped right before,” she said.

She recalled Felix sensing danger. “I feel like this was gonna try to do something. He told me he’s going to try and do something because why would he brake check us?” she said.

Video shows Gonzalez-Molina screaming for help as Felix lay on the ground, while she too suffered a gunshot wound. “Matter of seconds, I just saw my guy got in front of me. I don’t know if my guy saw him pull the gun or anything, but it was just so that all I heard was just shots,” she said.

Delgado was arrested and booked on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter. He remains in custody on $100,000 bail, police said.

Through tears, Gonzalez-Molina rejected suggestions she caused the altercation. “I got out the car to try and resolve it, not to get shot. And people say I am the reason my fiancé died, like I’m not the one who pulled out the gun,” she said.

McDonald’s management told KTLA it could not release surveillance footage of the shooting without authorization from the company’s security office. Police continue to investigate.
