Plenty of sun and cooler this week in Columbus, Ga

COLUMBUS, GA. (WRBL)- It has been a beautiful end to the weekend! A slight breeze and temperatures rose into the 80s. Yesterday’s cold front will keep these cooler temperatures around in the First Alert Forecast.

Monday: Tomorrow, we are tracking not rain, but more cloud cover. The cold front that entered yesterday will stall to our south, bringing clouds for one more day. Temperatures will cool slightly into the mid-80s, with morning lows in the 60s.

Next Week: For the rest of the week, we have a roller coaster for the afternoon readings. Temperatures will start to rebound at the end of the week, and we are looking at 90s by Friday.

On the other hand, morning lows will keep cooling off. Get ready for lower-60s at the end of the week. Plus, we have no more rain this week. The rainfall total keep trending below average this month.

Winds will stay breezy over the next several days. Sustained winds will stay between 5-10 mph, but gusts could get up to 20 mph through Friday afternoon.
