LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A man was killed in a Utility Terrain Vehicle crash Saturday, Sept. 6.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. Saturday and claimed the life of 63-year-old Clovis Vizier of Galliano.
LSP officials said Vizier was driving a 2014 Kawasaki Teryx UTV south on the northbound shoulder of Highway 3235. A 2015 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south. Kawasaki attempted to cross the highway. He entered the southbound lane and was struck by the Silverado.
Vizier was unrestrained and died at the scene. The driver of the Silverado was uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
