The Seat Pleasant Police Department (SPPD) said that on Aug. 22, a citizen reported finding a body in a lake in Lake Arbor, Md.
Officials recovered the body, and the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that the body belonged to 32-year-old Dakari Djehuti.
Police said that Djehuti was reported missing on Aug. 17. He was last seen walking in the 6600 block of Greig St. in Seat Pleasant, Md.
SPPD was continuing the investigation and thanked everyone who helped search for Djehuti and shared fliers.
Officials did not suspect any foul play and said that police were not looking for suspects.
