PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — If you’re walking along the Portland Waterfront this weekend, you may notice some colorful boats rowing up the Willamette.
On Saturday and Sunday, 41 local and national dragon boat teams are taking to the river for the annual Portland Dragon Boat Festival.
Hosted by DragonSports USA Portland, the festival is one of two annual dragon boat races, the other happening closer to the Portland Rose Festival.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days.
