West Virginia man arrested after crash with Loudoun County school bus: Deputies
LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Deputies arrested a man after a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Loudoun County.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said the crash between an SUV and a Loudoun County Public Schools bus happened on Wednesday at around 3:30 p.m. in the 34000 block of Leesburg Pike.

A man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and two juveniles were treated at the scene.

As a result, the sheriff’s office said the SUV driver, Thomas Allen Broomall, 49, of Charles Town, W.Va., was arrested because he was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crash.

He was taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and held without bond.

Broomall was charged with driving under the influence.
