The program aims to equip teens with essential resources and boost their confidence as they prepare for the ACT, a key entrance exam utilized by many colleges and universities for admissions decisions.
The ACT evaluates a student’s readiness for college in several subjects including math, science, English, and reading.
Students who attend the test prep program will participate in a timed, three-hour practice test that simulates the actual exam experience.
They will also have the chance to learn about additional library resources specifically designed to assist them in their standardized test preparation efforts.
As space for the program is limited, registration is required.
Scheduled for Saturday, September 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Hamilton/South Caddo Branch, located at 2111 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.
Interested participants can sign up in person at the Hamilton/South Caddo Branch or register online at https://bit.ly/SMLACTPREP.
