WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — One of the victims of the Weber County shooting has passed away, and two other victims are still recovering, according to the latest updated provided by the Weber County Sheriff’s office.
At around 1 a.m. on Aug. 31, Weber authorities received a 911 call of a man that had been shot in the area of 9300 W 900 S. Upon arrival, Weber County Sheriff’s Office stated that deputies discovered that three people had been shot: 22 year old Jesus Cuadras Garcia, another adult male who suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder, and a 5-year-old girl who sustained gunshot injuries to her leg and hip.
Garcia succumbed to his injuries on Sept. 4.
The Weber County Sheriff’s Office stated that after investigations, with the help of Weber/Morgan Homicide Task Force and detectives from the Ogden Police Department, detectives have arrested 18-year-old Michael Gaisbaur Jr. of Perry City.
He was booked into the Weber County Correctional Facility on the following charges:
The Weber County Sheriff’s Office reported that 19 year old Mckinzi Sundquist of South Ogden was arrested and booked into the Weber County Correctional Facility on one count of Obstruction of Justice (1st Degree Felony).
