Man arrested in connection to Topeka business theft in Eudora
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Police arrested a man in Eudora in connection to recent robbery of a Topeka business.

Officers with the Topeka Police Department (TPD) were called around 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4 regarding a domestic disturbance and theft at a business located in the 2100 block of Southwest Wanamaker Road. The TPD learned the suspect was reported to have a known address in Eudora in the 1300 block of Locust Street and contacted the Eudora Police Department later that same day.

“Officers immediately responded to the area and began looking for the suspect vehicle. A short time later, the suspect arrived at the residence and pulled into the driveway. Upon arrival, the suspect left the vehicle running and fled into the residence. After a brief period inside, the suspect exited the residence voluntarily and surrendered to officers without further incident.”

Eudora police arrested a 36-year-old man for robbery, theft and domestic battery. He was later booked in the Shawnee County Jail.
