2 firefighters injured while battling house fire on north side
INDIANAPOLIS – Two firefighters suffered injuries while battling a fire on the north side.
Indianapolis Fire Department crews were dispatched around 12:45 a.m. Friday to a home in the 7800 block of North Chester Avenue where they encountered a fire at a single-family home.
Personnel at the scene said two firefighters were injured during the incident. One was cleared to return. Information about the second firefighter was unavailable.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
