BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Monroe County Republican Party is moving forward with plans to establish the Women’s Republican Club of Monroe County, according to an announcement this week from party vice-chair Noelle Conyer.
The club’s first meeting will include adopting bylaws, completing an application for state approval, and electing officers. Conyer said several women have already expressed interest in joining.
Thanks to a local donor, the first year’s dues are covered for the first 10 members. After that, annual membership will cost $30. The club plans to meet monthly and offer opportunities for members to connect, hear from guest speakers, and address social and community issues.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved, share ideas, and build a strong network of Republican women here in Monroe County,” Conyer said in the announcement.
