Tyler Childers, Sierra Ferrell in 2026 Buckeye Country Superfest performers list

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH/WOWK) — Two musicians with local ties will be performing at the Buckeye Country Superfest in the summer of 2026.

Country Music Star and Kentucky native Tyler Childers will headline the ninth summer mega-event at Ohio Stadium on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The concert will include rising country stars The Red Clay Strays, Lord Huron, Flatland Cavalry, Kaitlin Butts, and West Virginia’s own Sierra Ferrell.

Childers, known for his unique style and mix of traditional country, folk, honky-tonk and bluegrass, was nominated for several music awards in 2024, including Best Country Song, Best Music Video and Best Country Solo Performance for “In Your Love”, which is featured in his nominated Best Country Album, Rustin’ in the Rain.

His latest project, Snipe Hunter, was released this summer, a blend of Appalachian music, experimental rock, psychedelia, and gospel music.

Childers is joined by The Red Clay Strays, who was named the 2024 Americana Music Honors & Awards Emerging Artist of the Year and the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year.

Singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell is also among the performers for the event. Earlier this year, Ferrell won her first four Grammy Awards, taking the gramophone statuette in all four categories where she was nominated. Her most recent album, Trail of Flowers, was released in March 2024.

Ferrell has been singing since childhood, and released her debut album, “Pretty Magic Spell,” in 2019, according to her website. Ferrell became known to a larger audience when she was featured on Zach Bryan’s self-titled LP in 2023. She also performed at the 2025 Lollapalooza.

She won Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Trail of Flowers at the Americana Music Awards in 2024. She is again nominated for Artist of the Year for the Americana Honors & Awards 2025, which will take place Sept. 10 in Nashville.

Tickets to see the half-dozen performers at the Buckeye Country Superfest 2026 will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. Fans can register for presale access at www.BuckeyeCountrySuperfest.com.
