TRAFFIC ALERT: Road closures in place after fatal crash in Springville

SPRINGVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — One is dead after a fatal accident near 400 South and 40 East in Springville.

According to Springville Police Department, officers and detectives are on scene near the area of 400 South and 40 East due to a traffic accident fatality. At this time, all Eastbound traffic is closed.

Law enforcement identified alcohol as a contributing factor and said, “We believe alcohol is likely involved with the driver.”

At this time, Springville Police has not released any other information. However, they are asking the public to avoid the area of the incident.
