Town hall in Shreveport hosted by members of the Legislative Black Caucus

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Louisiana’s Legislative Black Caucus will host a town hall meeting on Thursday evening.

Six members of the caucus from various parts of the state will be present for the meeting, which will be held at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum, 3015 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Advertised to appear at the event are local representatives Tammy Phelps (District 3), Steven Jackson (District 2), Joy Walters (District 4), and Senator Sam Jenkins. Representative Edmond Jordan (District 29), who represents portions of East and West Baton Rouge Parishes, and Representative Ed Larvadian III (District 26), who represents portions of Rapides Parish.

State lawmakers will be on hand to speak with constituents about the outcomes of the spring legislative process.
