The University announced Wednesday that it will play in the Vegas Kickoff Classic in Allegiant Stadium against Texas Tech to begin the 2030 campaign.
Allegiant Stadium is the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Vegas Kickoff Classic is set for Labor Day weekend and is nationally televised each year on either ABC or ESPN. The details will be announced at a later date.
The Hogs beat the Red Raiders in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl to cap the 2024 season after spending over 30 years as conference foes in the old Southwest Conference. The game in Las Vegas will be an addition to the home-and-home series the two programs previously scheduled. Arkansas and Texas Tech were scheduled to meet in Lubbock in 2030 and in Fayetteville in 2031. The two teams will now meet in Lubbock as part of the 2034 season.
The Razorbacks/Red Raiders showdown is one of five games scheduled as part of the Vegas Kickoff Classic. Other games include BYU vs. Oregon State in 2028, Miami vs. Utah and North Dakota State vs. Montana State in 2027, and Montana vs. South Dakota State in 2029.
