Court documents show that just after 4 p.m. on Sept. 2, officers with Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) were dispatched to the 10100 block of Laurent Way in response to reports of a shooting at an apartment there.
Officers found a victim in the area who had been shot in the face, according to an arrest citation. He was pronounced dead at the University of Louisville Hospital a short time later.
Another victim was reportedly found who had been shot in the wrist and ankle, law enforcement wrote.
Around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police were sent to St. Mary’s and Elizabeth Hospital in response to reports of a man who had walked in after being shot. Department officials said he’d been dropped off by a gold Toyota Camry.
“A maintenance man told officers there was a gold sedan leaving the apartment complex after the shooting,” Louisville officers wrote in court documents.
Louisville police alleged that a white sneaker found at the scene of the shooting matched one worn by 18-year-old Jeremiah Robinson, who was missing his other sneaker at the hospital.
Robinson also wouldn’t tell investigators where he was when he was when he’d been shot.
Robinson was arrested at the hospital and charged with complicity to murder and complicity to second-degree assault. Department officials wrote on Facebook on Thursday that he was still at the hospital for being shot, but would be lodged at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections after being discharged.
