Jabari turns 2! Indy Zoo celebrates youngest elephant's birthday
Happy second birthday, Jabari!
Jabari is a third-generation African Savanna elephant who was born two years ago at the Indianapolis Zoo. Jabari’s mother, Zahara, was also born at the Indianapolis zoo roughly 17 years before her son.
Zoo staff hosted a birthday party to celebrate Jabarai’s big day on Thursday. The 2-year-old elephant is known to be full of energy and spirit, the zoo said.
Watermelon and fruits were the favorite treat at Jabari’s party. Check out the attached video to see the young elephant celebrate his big day with his herd.
