BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (ABC4) — It is time to celebrate the fall harvest of peaches at this year’s Peach Days in Brigham City, Sept. 4 through 6.

Monica Holdaway, CEO of the Box Elder Chamber of Commerce, shared that there will be over 200 vendor booths this year. 35 of the booths will feature various peach dishes such as peach ice cream, funnel cake with peach toppings, deep fried peaches, peach BBQ sauce, and more.

“Dutch Oven peach cobbler is probably the most popular because it is so iconic. The deep-fried peaches are really good. And you just can’t go wrong with the funnel cake,” Holdaway said.

The majority of the other festivities, like the parades and rides, will begin on Friday.

Peach Queen Pageant

Holdaway shares that the festival will kick off on Thursday evening with The Peach Queen Pageant. The Peach Queen Pageant is the scholarship event. There, one person is named the Peach Queen. The Peach Queen will get to ride on the float and celebrate Peach Days.

“It’s the local royalty,” Holdaway said.

Additionally, over the weekend, there will be a 10k run, concert, quilt and car show, and beard contest.

Peach Days will be located in downtown Brigham City with free admission, and the schedule for the weekend can be found here.
