Anne Arundel County athletic club offering reward for information on vandalism

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Panthers Athletic Club in Pasadena is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible for vandalizing its bathroom and building exterior.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, on Sept. 1, officers received reports of a burglary and property destruction at the athletic club located on Looper’s Field.

There, two gutters and an eight-foot roof ridge vent were found removed from the building. Inside, two wall-mounted urinals, a wall-mounted sink, and the partition between the urinals were found destroyed on the bathroom floor.

Police believe the incidents occurred between Aug. 29 and Sept. 1.

Anyone with information is asked to call Eastern District detectives at (410) 222-0336 or the Eastern District Police Tip Line at (410) 222-3502. Individuals wishing to remain anonymous are encouraged to call the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at (410) 222-4700.
